Something Nice.

Well, I phoned up the other school today and accepted the post of nursery group leader. I'm going in next week to sort out paper work and also observe to get into the swing of things. I'm glad I'm observing first, it'll give me the chance to see how things are done and so on.

Soooo... as of Monday, I'll be a working woman!

Anyway.... a week Monday is the court date. Two weeks Monday is Jonathan's birthday, which he booked off, and I felt I had to tell the headteacher on the phone. I didn't want to lie, and say I had to go to court *that* day, but I also didn't want to make a bad impression. I hope she doesn't think I'm a shirker already (!) because of that! I also hope I don't feel really guilty when it comes to Jonathan's birthday. I want it to be a great day for him.

Hmm. I like to watch Doctors, a UK soap thing that's on in the daytime. I don't like the story-line too much though at the moment. Because although Faith's getting married, Kate's having an affair with a priest. And what with Mac (her husband) being so loving and romantic towards Kate... it's really quite horrible to watch.

Anyway... so I don't end on that... I'll end on something more positive (but not a lot more)... my diarrhoea from last night has subsided, my stomach is making growly noises still, but I'm feeling much better. I don't know what it was yesterday but I felt a bit iffy from about 6pm. After tea, I went to bed around 10pm with a hot water bottle to ease my stomach pains. Started feeling better around 11pm-12am. I woke up and Jonathan was still up, so I went to see what he was doing. We went to bed together in the end. Which is always nice, so we can cuddle up before we fall asleep.

Oh, and even though we didn't put the bins out last night, the bin men emptied them anyway. I've put quite a lot out for recycling, it's taken us a few weeks to fill up the kitchen bin, amazingly. Help the planet! Recycle! Haha, OK then.
