I had a good day today back at work. Slightly different day. It was a nice change, and it's going to be like it for a few weeks.
Over the half term, I've gained a bit of house pride, (don't know where it came from, but there you go) and we bought a bathroom cabinet to put all our spare bottles of shampoo and shower gel and whatnot. I've been looking through the argos website, looking at new beds, new bed linen, new bedside cabinets, loads of things. I'm just fed up of our mismatching furniture. Wish I could spend £1000 on furniture and stuff to redecorate with.
I was wondering through town today on my way back home, and I was staring at possibilities for a present for Jonathan at some point, and forgot all about the engagement card I was going to buy for Stephen and Nicky. I'm just so happy and excited for them. So happy my big brother's engaged as well. Seems strange to think we're both onto that stage of our lives where we're soon to be married, soon to make our parents grandparents... it's like a whole new era really. I guess you stop being a child when you get married, and start being a grown-up. Adult even. You start becoming responsible. Or more responsible. Look at me, blabbering on about responsibility. Hah. Yeah OK, I hear you saying... ;-)
