Jonathan and I are officially going on holiday this summer, a week in North Devon. Ok,ok, it might not be Majorca or America or anywhere swish, but we haven't been on holiday since September 02, to Scotland. And before that, a long weekend in Cornwall, the May before.

So I'm excited about this holiday. The place looks really nice, just five miles from a 3 mile long sandy beach, and the place itself has a game room with snooker table, darts, table tennis, as well as a tennis court and a giant trampoline similar to the one in Cornwall we had a go on over two years ago. And it has a barbecue we can use outside, so we might well make use of that, as well as membership to a local place with swimming pool, sauna etc. And not too far away from Cornwall, which has things like the Eden Project, several theme parks and other exciting days out. We're also not too far away from Clovelly, a place I remember visiting as a child.

Oh yeah, and Cornwall has gorgeous cream teas. :-) So yeah, we're going away on the 14th of August for a week this year.

We've not managed to go away much because of Jonathan swapping jobs so much in the last few years, his holiday gets paid and then he only gets half the yearly allowance from the new place. So oh well, but we're going away next year on a hopefully interesting holiday for our honeymoon!
