Spam, decor, kids, war, layout.

Added another layout here of a photo I found on some site that someone submitted of themselves...

There was something else I was gonna say but I forgot.

But I was going to mention about the war... so people don't think I'm heartless or ignoring the issue or anything, I don't want to offend anyone because they all have their own opinions... but I wish there was another way to sort this issue out, there have been countless dead. And to be honest, this all stemmed from the 9/11 thing. About them killing thousands of innocent people. By sending troops into war, they are killing soldiers, and yet more innocent people.

This sucks, and I can just see this thing escalating into WW3. There are already at least four countries involved (US, Britain, Iraq and Turkey)... so yeah. Politics suck.

Anyhooo... We've been doing mothers day things in nursery lately. Things are still good there. One of my new children who didn't speak to me for over 10 weeks, started speaking to me last week sometime. Amazing, but you really don't know how clever a child is if you don't understand what they say. This girl named all the colours (except red), including purple, orange, green, blue, and yellow. And I was amazed because I didn't even know she spoke English at all! It was a nice moment. She's such a sweet girl even though she shies away from doing things like apologising, but she definitely understands what we say. She's someone to work on, I feel.

Gah, I remembered what I was going to say, but then I forgot again because Graham Norton was on.

Aha. Jonathan reminded me. :-) I've stopped getting those spam things now. I think the total email count was 201 caught in the spam filter plus 54 that got through. So 255 emails in total. Now tell me this... would your yahoo/hotmail account have been able to deal with that? I don't know if Andrew ever got round to dealing with my request, or if that was why my spam eventually dried up. Although it's still going to ragingpistachio, so it can't be the last reason.

Anyway, saw a paint ad on the telly... which reminded me that I had a brilliant idea a few days ago for the bedroom, so it's red, cream, and wicker. But Jonathan thinks I'm getting obsessed with wicker because I suggested wicker headboard, blinds for the windows, matting for the ledge by the window, and on the wardrobe doors. Listing it out does make it seem a bit OTT. :-) But hey. Cream on three walls, maybe stencilling in red at the top of all four (as there's a dado rail thing at the top, above which is painted cream.) Anyway, should be good if we ever get the time.

Gonna go now. Have to make lunch or something. Peh.
