Just a quickie to say that wedding plans are coming along... dress needs a few minor alterations so I need to get some more of the same material when I'm in town... um... I guess later today!! as well as some stickers for my pebbles, and some other things.
Another friend of Mum makes jewelry and she has custom made me a necklace and some earrings, so I should get to see those pretty soon!
Today, I rang up various places to chase up certain details, unable to get through to the photographer, or the venue's chef, but I managed to talk to the registry office regarding finalising the legalities of getting married, and stuff like that.
Tonight, Jonathan and I chose the readings for the wedding, and asked the people we want to read them if they'd mind... (My brother is doing one reading, and Jonathan's dad is doing another... the registrar is doing the last).
I also did seating arrangements for the guests at the meal. I'm amazed at how it's worked out... I'm fairly certain they said the smaller circular tables could hold 10 people, and the top table could hold 12 (or 14). Either way, the top table has 10 people, as has one of the other tables, and the other two tables have nine. I've got an "oldies" table, which holds grandparents and uncles, a youngies table, which has all people in their mid-late 20s, and a "kiddies" table, which has two familes (and an extra older couple who are related to one of the families, but couldn't fit on any of the other tables). So yeah, I feel quite accomplished today.
Anyway, time to head to bed, I've got my NVQ assessor coming to check up on me and stuff tomorrow at 9.10am, and I've got some excess washing up to do before she comes. Speak to you later, kiddies, and huge congratulations to Mandy Moo who got married two weeks ago!
