Well, it is now less than two days til the big day. 48 hours from now, I'll be about to step on the dance floor for my first dance with my husband. Things seem so unreal, I'm sitting at my computer, in a plain back t-shirt and black trousers, and to think that in just under two days I'll be wearing a beautiful white dress, walking down the aisle to my gorgeous husband to be. It's like it's not really happening... almost like any other day, but not quite. Things just keep happening, but I've been on the phone to Jonathan, the photographer and the registrar all on the same day.

Finalising details with parents, ushers, and so on. Tomorrow at work is going to be strange. My last day to the children as "Miss" and when I return on Monday I will be "Mrs". I'll be reminded everyday that I am married...

They've been doing stuff today. They practically shoved me out of nursery for most of the afternoon, doing a display in the school corridor, and when I came back, several of the children came up to me saying "You're going to look beautiful in your dress when you get married!" (Awwwww!) And also "We've got you a present!" And even "We've got you some chocolate!" At which point, I had to remind them to keep quiet and that it was meant to be a surprise.

I think we've pretty much got everything sorted for the wedding now. There's always going to be a little niggly feeling that I've forgotten SOMETHING, but I'm sure nothing can be so bad that it'll ruin the day, and I'm sure half of it I won't even notice. :-)

I watched a weather forecast for Saturday, it had a little grey cloud with a raindrop underneath it. :( Some showers. If only it was a day like today... I guess there's still hope... And I'm sure even a downpour won't dampen my spirits on my wedding day...

Ahhhh, it's getting so close!!! Sometimes I can't help screaming internally. It's going to be so strange calling Jonathan my husband, and him calling me his wife. I'm going to be a wife! How strange is that!!!

I must say that I am LOVING all the attention I am getting... I got loads of attention on my hen night, (OK - mainly because I was wearing angel wings, a big L plate, a sash and devil horns/veil, but hey), and all the children seem so excited that I'm getting married. I also got out of planning this afternoon! (woohooo! - planning is so long, boring and tedious sometimes) Ahhh. Feel very happy and content. So I think this is a good point to sign off. :-D
