What a crazy crazy day it's been. One of the children at work has a highly infectious disease - needless to say, the child wasn't in today, in fact, the whole family wasn't in. But as it's spread through poor hygiene (as most children have), it's likely that all the toys, surfaces, chairs, towels, etc etc harbour the virus, so it sort of threw things for sorts.
So yeah, fun morning while the whole of the nursery (although not the toys...) was cleaned. We came back to it smelling like a swimming pool.
Also, for some reason, my right foot is soooo painful when I walk on it, or if I'm barefoot, even lean on it. It's like it's the muscle that makes my toes lift up to walk, as it felt OK when I was walking without bending my foot (highly impractical). Every time I walked on it, it was like a shooting pain going up my ankle. Doesn't sound good. Doesn't feel good. My right foot doesn't look a lot different to my left, so I don't know what's wrong with it... but boy... it hurts. I only noticed it hurting coming down from lunch. It's made my afternoon a misery. Should have got a taxi home.
